Desktop Updates
Big exciting news
- Stream your game straight from Xbox to Discord. At long last, Xbox players can now stream games from their Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One directly to friends and communities on Discord. Connect your accounts to start streaming from the comfort of your controller.
Sweet tools for server admins
- Give new members the star treatment. Help newcomers feel welcome the moment they join your server. Guide them through rules, channels to join, and any required tasks before chatting: Learn more
- Filter nicknames with AutoMod. Don't want your members using certain words in their server nicknames? Set up nickname filters to enforce your server rules and stop members from chatting until they follow them.
- Members in small servers got mightier. For servers with fewer than 50 members, we’ve changed permissions so now everyone can add emoji, stickers, Soundboard sounds, and events. If things get too chaotic you can undo this change in Server Settings.
Now playing: your theme music
- Announce your arrival with Soundboard. TV shows have opening sequences. Pro athletes have walk-on songs. With Soundboard, you can let your friends know you’ve arrived with a choir of angels—or a shrieking pile of rubber chickens, whatever feels right. And with Nitro, you can choose a sound to play automatically when you join a voice channel.
- Nitro gift cards now available on Amazon. Buy 1, 3, 6, or 12 months of Nitro to email to your bestie or yourself. Stock up when you’re browsing for Halloween costumes, or just send the link to your tech-savvy grandma when she asks what to get you for your birthday. Available in the U.S. only.
