Apostatoes was created in 2017 by mods of the r/exchristian subreddit. The server grew quickly, popular among deconverting and deconstructing Christians who wanted a more private and free-flowing discussion format to work through the loss of belief and the complex and often difficult family and social circumstances that resulted from it. Over the years, the space has grown to encompass a range of topics for education, interest and enrichment. Life goes on after leaving church, and we're here for people all along that journey. Join if you have questions or doubts, need solidarity or are just looking for a sincere space to hang out in after leaving a religious identity behind.
