Brief Book Respite is an active community dedicated to discussing, sharing, and reviewing your favourite books, offering a momentary refuge even in our dreary days.

While our community is broadly skewed toward fantasy and science fiction, we welcome readers of any and all genres, and also provide spaces to discuss film, television, games, and writing. We are dedicated to fostering a community that shares a love of reading, welcomes all kinds of readers and preferences, and champions reading diversely and consistently. We also host a variety of community-building activities such as a yearly bingo and server-wide readalongs. Please note that this server is for users aged 18 and above due to open discussion of books that include mature elements.
