PureASOIAF is a Discord server dedicated exclusively to book-only discussion of A Song of Ice and Fire. In our core channels, all conversation about HBO’s television adaptations—including vague references or minor mentions—is strictly prohibited. Instead, we focus entirely on George R.R. Martin’s written work. For those who wish to discuss the shows, we provide designated quarantine channels where such discussion is confined.

We strive for thoughtful, high-quality conversation. Literary analysis, close reading, and theorycrafting are encouraged, while memes and low-effort chatter are reserved for specific off-topic channels and not allowed in the main discussion areas.
