Discord Social SDK 1.6 Update: Custom Invites & Rich Presence Branding

This incremental update to v1.6 adds highly requested customization features to boost your game’s branding. You can now display custom art for game invite banners (via URL, asset key, or a fallback image in the Developer Portal). Additionally, you can now customize the displayed name for your Application within Discord’s Rich Presence to match your game’s identity. This ensures players and their Discord friends see the exact game art you want them to while playing.

Collect User Files with the New Modal Component

Ship richer, more useful forms for your users with the new File Upload component in Modals. This update allows you to collect non-text data from users directly in your modal forms, with full control over the minimum and maximum number of files (0-10) accepted. This means, for example, your community can now upload screenshots for bug reports, streamlining the feedback process.
