Expanding your Niche

If you’re a  content creator with a specific niche, you’ve likely already created a unique nook of the ‘net where your fans can also connect around that niche of yours. Whether it’s a certain gaming genre, a fashion style, or something totally unique like collecting watch straps, your server is a space all your own. While your niche serves as a starting point for structuring your Discord server’s channels, you can also use your server as a space to expand and explore related or completely new interests!.

When setting up your new Discord server, your channels serve as conversation spaces for your members to gather. It’s common for community leaders to set up their server’s first channels to align with your existing interests. Let’s say you’re a gaming creator, but somehow your server keeps talking about jazz music. To support your community, consider creating a channel for members to share their favorite songs, or bond over what instruments they play.
