Xbox Game Pass, Logitech, and SteelSeries join line-up of first partners to tap into Discord's highly engaged player community with the brand new rewards program
SAN FRANCISCO, May 11th, 2026 – Discord today announced the launch of Nitro Rewards, a new program that adds partner benefits from leading gaming and lifestyle brands directly into the Nitro membership at no added cost. The launch marks an evolution of Nitro from a membership that lets players access a premium Discord experience to one that also unlocks a premium gaming experience across every part of a member's gaming life – on Discord and beyond.
Launched nearly a decade ago, Nitro is Discord’s player membership, built to upgrade how players connect with friends on the platform. Nitro began with a small set of perks and evolved over the years with meaningful upgrades to the Discord experience. The rollout of Nitro Rewards extends the value of a Nitro membership by offering even more perks that now support the entire gaming lifestyle, including how players hang out together, what they play, and the gear that they use.
Discord is launching with an initial set of Nitro Rewards partners with more to be added over time, including:
- Xbox Game Pass: Where available, Nitro members now get a starter edition of Game Pass at no extra cost. Members can play 50+ games like Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, and Day Z across PC and Xbox console. Xbox Game Pass also includes 10 hours of cloud gaming each month so players can stream select games right away on more devices. Plus, players can earn up to $25 a year in the Xbox Store with Rewards.
- Exclusive discounts on SteelSeries and Logitech gear: Special pricing on peripherals and accessories from two of the most recognized names in gaming hardware. Nitro members now get up to 30% off at Logitech G, 15% off at SteelSeries, and 20% off KontrolFreek with new offers rotating regularly. Whether it's a new headset, a mouse, or a keyboard, these are the brands many Nitro members already use, and these discounts make it easier to upgrade their setup when players are ready.
- Monthly Orbs Drops and an Orbs multiplier: Nitro members will receive 250 Orbs automatically each month, plus an Orbs multiplier that enables players to earn 20% more Orbs when completing Quests.
Nitro members will still continue to enjoy everything that levels up their Discord experience, including: profile personalization; custom emoji and sounds; app color themes; always-on Shop discounts; HD streaming up to 4K; 500MB file uploads; longer messages; and server boosts.
