How to Link Discord to Battlefield 6, Marvel Rivals & More

Discord is at its best when it’s at the center of game night. Have the entire squad in the same voice call to give each other pointers, laugh and yell at each other during an extremely unbalanced party game, or just talk about something completely unrelated to the game as you spend time with your buddies.

Now, you can bring Discord directly into your game! Some of the most popular multiplayer games are starting to add the power to directly link your Discord account to the game, giving you access to some slick new Discord-powered capabilities, including:

  • Seeing your Discord friends on your in-game friends list, and inviting them to your game with just a click from within the game.
  • Messaging your Discord friends using in-game chat. They can reply back in Discord, and you’ll see it as an in-game message!
  • Showing off more details about what you’re playing as your status, whether you’re pushing the objective or messing around in a casual game mode.

Wanna try these features out yourself? Read on to learn how to connect your Discord account to two of the biggest multiplayer games out there: Battlefield 6 and Marvel Rivals.

Note: These unique Discord-powered features are available for each game discussed at the time of publication. There’s always a chance that the features available may change down the road.

How to Link Discord to Battlefield 6

Bring all your current and future squadmates into one place! Linking your Discord and EA accounts together lets you directly invite your Discord friends to your party from within Battlefield 6 on both PC and supported consoles, without having to take your eyes away from the action.

Bring in the Medic who saves the day and the Engineer who’s always lying prone on the vehicle they’re repairing in just a few clicks!

You can show your Discord friends in Battlefield 6 by linking your EA account to Discord. Do this either directly in-game by using the “Connect to Discord” option in the EA Connect tab (aka your BF6 Friends List), or by heading to the Account Connections page on the EA website by using the Big Blurple Button below:

After you link your account, a new “Discord” section of your BF6 friends list will appear on supported platforms, providing quick access to your squadmates who’re already hanging out on Discord.

Linking your Discord account to Battlefield 6 also enables Rich Presence, letting you show off what game mode you’re playing, how long you’ve been playing it, and how many slots are available in your squad as your Discord status. Expect some of your regular squadmates to DM you with “ohhh you’re playing rn?? lemme join in!!”

How to Link Discord to Marvel Rivals

For PC players, Marvel Rivals has even more Discord-powered features! Just like Battlefield 6, linking your Discord account to Marvel Rivals lets you invite your Discord friends directly from your Marvel Rivals friends list.

Additionally, you can use Marvel Rivals’ in-game text chat to message your Discord friends directly from the game! Your friends can then reply to your in-game messages from Discord, and you’ll see their message from Discord inside Marvel Rivals’ in-game text chat. It’s basically cross-multiverse comms.

To link your Discord account to Marvel Rivals on PC, open up your in-game friends list on the top-right of the Marvel Rivals main menu. From here, you’ll notice the third tab in this menu has a Discord logo on it! Open that tab and you’ll see a big “Link Now” button.

Clicking on the “Link Now” button will bring you to the screen shown below. Press “Go,” then follow the prompts to sign in to your Discord account to Marvel Rivals.

And BOOM. You’re done. You’ll now start to see your friends populate in your Marvel Rivals friends list on PC. Send ‘em a message to see if they’re up for a few Quick Match rounds or wanna try out that new PvE zombie mode.

Connect Discord to…

Now that you’ve got @everyone in the lobby, bring ‘em in a Discord voice call… even if they’re playing on a different platform.
